Welcome to the Junior Section where we cater for U6-U18

We believe the every junior matters whether their skill set is beginner, club, county or national level. We are inclusive and above all we want to ensure that everyone enjoys themselves and has fun. We are proud of our "family friendly" reputation.

Age Groups

Our season runs from September to the end of April, depending on Easter and league finals. Our age groups span over 2 years as per England Hockey set up:

Under 6: turning 5 or 6 on or after 1st September 2017 (year R/1)
Under 8: turning 7 or 8 on or after 1st September 2017 (year2/3)
Under 10: turning 9 or 10 on or after 1st September 2017 (year 4/5)
Under 12: turning 11 or 12 on or after 1st September 2017 (year 6/7)
Under 14: turning 13 or 14 on or after 1st September 2017 (year 8/9)
Under 16: turning 15 or 16 on or after 1st September 2017 (year 10/11)

What to Bring: Shinpads, Gumshield, Stick (if new to the sport we have some to lend) and water bottle.

Start of Season: Friday 8th (U12/14/16) Sunday 10th September (U6/8/10)
Christmas: Friday 15th and Sunday 17th December
Spring: Friday 5th and Sunday7th January
Last training: Sunday 25th March 2018 (U6/8/10) and Friday 30th March 2018 (U12/14/16)
